Garlic Sauce

Nando’s garlic sauce is a fantastic blend of mellow garlic and just the right amount of heat that hits all the right spots. A culmination of African Bird’s Eye chili, onions, sun-ripened lemons, garlic, and spices, envelops this sauce in pure deliciousness. Tastewise it has tangy, garlicky, and slightly spicy notes that pair perfectly with fries, grilled meat, and vegetables and even makes plain French fries more enjoyable.

Mild Sauce

The mild sauce is their calmest and mildest flavor with its tangy and very mildly spicy profile. The sauce is a blended mixture of Peri-Peri & Serrano chilies, bold garlic pieces, and a dash of lemon. It has a noticeable acidity with notes of garlic that serve perfectly in use as a marinade or dip. The sauce is also delicious with shrimp, pork, and rice. But, for me, I love to use it when I’m reheating chicken wings and need a quick splash of flavor.

Lemon and Herb Sauce

Now, this is a lemon and herb sauce you don’t wanna let fly over your head. Although the consistency may be somewhat thinner compared to other restaurant sauces, the flavor is undeniably potent and tasty. The lemon and herb sauce is a mix of vinegar, lemon, garlic, and mild chili peppers. It has a strong, lemony taste that’s great for adding flavor to roast chicken, grilled burgers, and dipping veggies or pitta bread.

Tangy & Spicy Mayo Garlic Perinaise Sauce

The Tangy & Spicy Mayo Garlic Perinaise sauce is a truly delicious addition to their rooster. Made with PERi-PERi chilies, eggs, salt, garlic, lemon, onion, oil, and vinegar. It has a dominant garlic flavor that’s absolutely delicious. Its creamy texture and well-balanced combination makes it perfect for meats, vegetables, rice, or potatoes. I also loved dipping it with a snack like chicken pieces and crackers.

XX Hot Sauce

Double the XX, double the spicy and flavor. Everything is doubled with Nando’s XX Hot sauce. It has a fiery rating of 175,000 SHU’s that can be attributed to the devilishly delicious combination of African bird’s eye chili, cayenne pepper, and paprika. The medium consistency is perfect for spicy chicken sauce recipes. It’s particularly well-suited for spicing up BBQ sauces, meat, fish, rice, and veggies.

Hot Sauce

Every restaurant has a hot sauce version of its own. Each with a totally different flavor that just makes sense, and Nando’s? They’ve done just that. This hot sauce delivers a fiery kick that’s well-balanced with a hint of smokiness and tangy lemon. The extra heat is perfect for creating wraps or as a zesty dipping sauce for fries. Though it does have a slightly runny consistency and saltiness.

Tangy & Spicy Mayo Perinaise Sauce

This is exactly the same as Tangy & Spicy Mayo Garlic Perinaise, minus the overly garlic flavor. It’s made with PERi-PERi chilies, eggs, salt, garlic, lemon, onion, oil, and vinegar. This combination offers a well-balanced combination of tanginess and spice. It’s the perfect accompaniment to chicken breasts, pork, grilled fish, boiled eggs, and sautéed vegetables.

Tangy & Fiery Mayo Hot Perinaise Sauce

The third installment of Nando’s Tangy & Fiery Mayo Perinaise is their hot version. It offers a sweet sensation on the tongue, followed by a spicy kick in the throat. Lavished onto some sandwiches, fries, and burgers, and you’ve got the perfect snack sauce on the go. Its slightly spicy profile makes it perfect for these dishes and more like chips and crisps.

Medium Sauce

What sauces does Nando’s have that’s both mild on the taste buds and equally delicious? Well, Nando’s has a medium sauce. Buffalo Wild Wing’s sauces also feature a medium sauce, but Nando’s is levels above it. It’s packed with a ton of flavor and leans more heavily into a sweet onion taste. This absolutely delicious combination creates a rich and powerful flavor couple that pairs exceptionally well with different meats, salads, and vegetables.
